David's Chair
David's Chair is a non-profit organization that provides Mobility Track Chairs to communities that would benefit from having those options available for people with mobility issues. Thanks to a very generous donation from one of our citizens, David's Chair has provided one of those chairs to Pacific City and its guests. The chair will be housed at PC-POUR Wine Bar (by the cape) and can be reserved online at https://davidschair.org/request-fixed-location-chair/
Want to Rent the Mobility Track Chair?
Great. Here's how. The chair is only available to those who have completed the online reservation. Please go to PC-POUR for now. To register, follow these steps:
Online Reservation System:

Go to the David’s Chair website for ALL track chair reservations. https://davidschair.org/request-a-chair/

Select the date and time available that you wish to reserve the chair. Once entered it will show the chair is reserved, but NOT yet confirmed.

Checkouts will be available Fri, Sat & Sun 12-2 and 2:30-4:30

David’s Chair will reach back out to you to confirm and send the required Waiver. That form MUST be completed and returned in order to CONFIRM the reservation. Ideally your registration form will be confirmed within 72 hours.

Day of Reservation:

Please arrive in the Cape Kiwanda Parking Lot (by The Pelican) ( map )a few minutes prior to your reservation. A volunteer will meet you by the boat ramp on the north side of the parking lot. They will have the chair ready for your use.

The volunteer will explain operation of the chair. The volunteer cannot assist with transferring the user into the chair.

Please return the chair fifteen minutes prior to the end of your reservation. It should be returned to the same spot where you picked it up. The volunteer will inspect the chair and either return it to PC Pour or get it ready for the next reservation.
