Artist Reception

"Being a native Oregonian from the PNW, I know I am extremely fortunate to have spent my life in such an incredible location.  I have had opportunities to visit many areas of the world, and still, I believe that this unique, diverse area of the world is truly extraordinary.  I have been captivated by the changing seasons, and the many available outdoor pursuits that have leant their influence on me and my self-expression.  Having studied photography and fine arts at University of Oregon, and PNCA I was able to explore different mediums and techniques and have always intrigued me, and have compelled to create my art through photography, screen printing, and painting.  I try to capture moments in time that reflect my surroundings, and within my mind.  This is my visual diary of what inspires me." - John Ellis
