Willakenzie Estate

WillaKenzie Estate is a family-owned, estate-driven winery located in the heart of Oregon’s Northern Willamette Valley. Since breaking ground more than 25 years ago, they’ve been passionate about crafting Pinot Noirs that convey a sense of place.

 

Named after Willamette Valley’s major rivers: the Willamette and McKenzie, Willakenzie is an analogy to the rolling hills of their Yamhill-Carlton Estate.  The two flowing rivers, coupled with the fleur-de-lis, appear on the vineyard’s label as a reflection of how Willakenzie Estate mirrors the terroir of France.

 

Erik Kramer, Willakenzie’s winemaker says it best, “Beautiful wines come from beautiful places.” As Willakenzie is peak Oregon beauty.

 

Willakenzie Pinot Noir 2017 is a classic expression of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, a strong yet balanced taste of red fruits and spices.  However, the aroma brings a bouquet of roses that is reminiscent of the Portland Rose Garden.  If anything, Willakenzie does more than simply showcase the Willamette Valley, but reflects multiple Oregon beauties.
